The Anglo Australian Motorsport Race Team made our way to Morgan Park Raceway in Queensland for Round 1 of the National Formula Ford - Kent series and Round 5 of the National Formula Ford - Duratec series.

Mitch Gatenby - A Dominating Performance:

Yet again, Mitch Gatenby dominated the weekend in our 1600cc Spirit Race Car sporting number #13. It is obviously a lucky number for Mitch who wrapped the weekend up with a clean sweep!

Fastest Lap Record for a Kent class car ⏱

We are very much looking forward to seeing what Mitch can do at Round 2 of the National Formula Ford Kent series at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia on 16th -18th September 2022.

Pat Heuzenroeder - A Challenging Weekend:

Young Pat Heuzenroeder found really solid pace early on in the Race Weekend during Friday's Practice sessions. Impressive considering this was the first time that the Sydney-sider had been to Morgan Park Raceway.

Quali didn't quite go to plan with Pat finding himself P11th on the grid and lots of places to make up in Race 1.

Pat got off to great start making it up to P10 having some great battles with some of Australia's most talented Drivers. A touch of mid corner over-steer through the fast flowing sweeper saw Pat leave the track and make contact with the tyre wall putting and end to his Race.

Fortunately Pat walked away with only minor injuries but couldn't get medical clearance to compete in Races 2 & 3.

He can't wait to back in the drivers seat for Round 6 of the National Formula Ford - Duratec series in a few weeks time at The Bend Motorsport Park, SA.
